Each year, McMurphy Orthodontics will provide a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is either a current or former patient of McMurphy Orthodontics. The scholarship may be applied towards tuition, books, fees, or any other related expenses for the student’s first year of college.
Scholarship applicants must submit the required application, two letters of reference, and an essay on one of the following topic choices:
- Write and essay highlighting a particular person or event that has influenced your personal life and future aspirations.
- Tell us how your new smile gives you confidence, and how it has and will benefit you in pursuing your life and career goals.
The essay must be 500 words or less, double spaced, printed and submitted by mail. The criterion for scholarship selection is based on achievement, leadership, and service throughout the high school years, along with the essay and references. These attributes can be represented through school, community, or other related activities.
Drs. Hicks & McMurphy and their team will review the entries; winners will be announced in May.
Scholarship applications are due each year by April 1st. Please mail or deliver to:
1575 University Blvd. South
